Work
What will you do?
- Ontwerpen van de technische architectuur voor producten zoals Scrubber en Thin Client.
- Zelfstandig doorvoeren van software-aanpassingen, met focus op open source componenten.
- Integreren van hardware (Telestick/Thin Client) met bijbehorende software (Scrubber, besturingssysteem e.d.).
- Uitvoeren van functionele en beveiligingstests op nieuwe productreleases.
- Ondersteunen van gebruikers en organisatie bij wijzigingen en uitfaseringen van producten.
- Bewaken van correcte werking en onderhoud van uitgerolde oplossingen.
- Zorgen dat producten voldoen aan informatiebeveiligingseisen (o.a. smartcard, encryptie).
- Bijdragen aan het verbeteren van de kwaliteit van producten en beheerprocessen.
Context and objective
- Werken binnen het Kennisteam Open Source (KTO) van Defensie.
- Bijdragen aan de ontwikkeling van Defensie-specifieke IT-producten op basis van open source.
- Realiseren van stabiele, snelle en gebruiksvriendelijke IT-bouwstenen voor de organisatie.
- Samenwerken met het team IT Toepassingen binnen de afdeling Generieke IT en Infrastructuur (GIT&Infra).
- Ondersteunen van defensiebrede IT-infrastructuur door lifecyclemanagement van generieke ICT-producten.
- Aligneren van generieke IT-oplossingen met de bedrijfsvoering van Defensie.
- Beheren van zowel standaard- als maatwerkoplossingen binnen afgesproken kaders (tijd, geld, kwaliteit).
- Waarborgen van de veiligheid, duurzaamheid en beheersbaarheid van oplossingen.
Job requirements
- Kennis en ervaring met CI/CD en scripting (voor build, test en uitrol van producten).
- Ruime en aantoonbare ervaring met PowerShell scripting of vergelijkbaar.
- 5 jaar HBO werk- en denkniveau.
- 5 jaar kennis van Open Source (Linux / Unix).
- 3 jaar ervaring met Linux / Embedded systemen (veel gebruikt bij open source gebaseerde oplossingen).
Wishes
- Succesvol afgeronde HBO opleiding in ICT.
- Ervaring met Security-by-Design (met name relevant voor Scrubber en Telestick).
- Ervaring met Hardwarebeheer en -integratie (bijv. smartcard readers, Thin Client firmware).
- Kennis van open source licenties en compliance.
- Ervaring met Releasebeheer & Versiebeheer.
Ministry of Defence
- Deployments to Defence are usually for longer periods (1 to 4 years maximum). This position requires a B-screening with an average duration of 6-8 weeks.
- When offering a candidate, completion of the offer form is mandatory. This also asks you to explain the requirements and wishes + include a reference to the CV.
Specific to suppliers
When you offer a professional with us and they are placed, we need information from you as a contracting party. Among other things, with regard to the Wet Ketenaansprakelijkheid. The ‘WKA’ aims to prevent abuse in the payment of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to end customer.
Broker parties cover these risks for their customers. To limit liability, measures need to be taken. So too by Hero. Important here is WAADI registration and use of a blocked account, the G account. This is the account into which only payroll taxes and VAT are deposited, which are then paid to the tax authorities. You can apply for the G account from the Tax and Customs Administration.
