For our client, we are looking for a Radio Systems System Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the management and maintenance of critical radio systems within Defence. You will ensure optimal system logistics set-up, provide strategic advice and support the implementation of new C4I solutions. In this way, you will directly contribute to safe and reliable communication that is essential for operational deployability.

Work
What will you do?
- Ensure continuity, safety and reliability of radio systems in the maintenance phase.
- Preparation and maintenance of complete and up-to-date system and ILS plans.
- Set up and optimise all necessary ILS aspects, including SAP.
- Drafting system logistics requirements for procurement of C4I solutions.
- Advise, guide and support users, maintainers and project leaders in implementation of new C4I (sub)systems and system logistics.
Context and objective
- Management and maintenance of defence-wide radio systems.
- Ensure optimal system logistics set-up and lifecycle management.
- Contribute to a coherent operational IT structure.
- Support Defence's operational C4I needs.
- Creation of systems that align with business operations and end-user convenience.
- Optimising deployment and reliability of radio systems.
Job requirements
- You are proactive, customer-oriented and have good communication skills.
- You have a completed WO education in the field of technical business administration or a business management degree.
- 5 years of knowledge and experience in Integrated Logistic Support and (weapons) system management.
- 5 years of knowledge and experience in Integrated Logistic Support and system management.
- 5 years of knowledge and experience in preparing and working with various System and ILS plans.
- 3 years' knowledge of and experience working in a government organisation > 1000 FTE.
- 3 years of knowledge and experience with SAP in the field of (weapons) system management.
Wishes
- 5 years of proven working experience in system management of military radio systems.
Ministry of Defence
- Deployments to Defence are usually for longer periods (1 to 4 years maximum). This position requires a B-screening with an average duration of 6-8 weeks.

Specific to suppliers
