Wij zijn voor onze opdrachtgever op zoek naar een Solution Architect – Migratie & Integratie die wil bijdragen aan het toekomstbestendig maken van het IT-landschap van Defensie. In deze rol werk je aan complexe applicaties en systemen, met technologieën als .NET, PHP, OpenText, SQL Server en Mendix. Je speelt een sleutelrol in de migratie naar de (private) cloud en vertaalt architectuurprincipes naar concrete oplossingen. Samen met collega-architecten, informatiemanagers en ontwikkelteams zorg je voor stabiele en innovatieve IT-oplossingen binnen een uitdagende omgeving.

What will you do?

  • Ontwerpen van oplossingen voor projecten met applicaties en systemen.
  • Documenteren van oplossingen binnen vastgestelde architectuurkaders, principes, standaarden en regelgeving.
  • Begeleiden van projecten volgens Agile- en/of PRINCE2-methodologie.
  • Doorvoeren van wijzigingen in modelleertools (zoals ARIS).
  • Stimuleren en bewaken van naleving van architectuurprincipes en IT-voorwaarden binnen projecten en producten/diensten.

Context and objective

  • Werken binnen Defensie aan een complex applicatielandschap met standaard- en maatwerkapplicaties.
  • Bijdragen aan oplossingen binnen domeinen zoals facilitair en veiligheid.
  • Omgaan met uiteenlopende systemen (webapplicaties, apps, webservices, BPM-applicaties).
  • Werken met diverse technologieën (.NET, PHP, OpenText, SQL Server, Mendix).
  • Belangrijke rol in de migratie naar de (private) cloud.
  • Samenwerken met solution architecten, informatiemanagers en ontwikkelteams.
  • Onderdeel van de afdeling Besturen & Overige Ondersteuning (BOO) binnen JIVC, leverancier van IT voor de krijgsmacht.
  • Bijdragen aan continuïteit, onderhoud en support van IT-systemen.

Job requirements

  • Ervaring met het gebruik maken van specifieke kennis om relevante ICT-technologie en -specificaties te definiëren die kunnen worden ingezet bij de bouw van meerdere IT-projecten, toepassingen of infrastructuurverbeteringen.
  • Je beschikt over WO werk- en denkniveau, een afgeronde opleiding op het gebied van Informatica of een vergelijkbare combinatie van opleiding en ervaring, zo nodig toetsbaar in een assessment.
  • 3 jaar werkervaring met het werken in een Agile omgeving.
  • 3 jaar werkervaring als architect in het domein van software/applicatie architectuur.
  • 5 jaar kennis en ervaring op het gebied van software ontwikkeling (webapplicaties, (micro)services, security, cloud etc.)/

Wishes

  • Ervaring met ontwikkelen van toepassingen in de Cloud.
  • Ervaring met ontwikkelen van moderne integratietoepassingen (API, event driven).

Ministry of Defence

  • Deployments to Defence are usually for longer periods (1 to 4 years maximum). This position requires a B-screening with an average duration of 6-8 weeks.
  • When offering a candidate, completion of the offer form is mandatory. This also asks you to explain the requirements and wishes + include a reference to the CV.

Specific to suppliers

When you offer a professional with us and they are placed, we need information from you as a contracting party. Among other things, with regard to the Wet Ketenaansprakelijkheid. The ‘WKA’ aims to prevent abuse in the payment of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to end customer.

Broker parties cover these risks for their customers. To limit liability, measures need to be taken. So too by Hero. Important here is WAADI registration and use of a blocked account, the G account. This is the account into which only payroll taxes and VAT are deposited, which are then paid to the tax authorities. You can apply for the G account from the Tax and Customs Administration.
