Voor onze opdrachtgever Nationaal Archief zijn wij op zoek naar een ervaren Platform Engineer die binnen een multidisciplinair Scrumteam werkt aan de doorontwikkeling en automatisering van de IT-basisdiensten. In deze rol vertaal je infrastructurele wensen naar robuuste ontwerpen en implementaties, bouw je integraties op basis van bestaande API’s of passende open-source alternatieven en ondersteun je ontwikkelteams bij het zelfstandig beheren van hun platform. Met jouw technische expertise draag je direct bij aan het digitale fundament dat gebruikt wordt om bijna duizend jaar Nederlandse geschiedenis — van 137 kilometer archiefstukken tot honderden terabytes aan digitale bestanden — duurzaam en toegankelijk te beheren.

Work
- Werken binnen een multidisciplinair Scrumteam op locatie bij het Nationaal Archief in Den Haag.
- Doorontwikkelen, ontwerpen en beheren van infrastructuurcomponenten die de IT-basisdiensten ondersteunen.
- Vertalen van infrastructuurbehoeften naar concrete ontwerpen, configuraties en implementaties die ontwikkelteams zelfstandig kunnen beheren.
- Realiseren van integraties op basis van bestaande API’s of adviseren over passende open-source of off-the-shelf oplossingen.
- Intensief samenwerken met technisch applicatiebeheerders, DevOps-engineers en infrabeheerders.
- Bijdragen aan de automatisering, modernisering en optimalisatie van het IT-platform.
- Ondersteunen van ontwikkelteams bij het inrichten van hun eigen infrastructuur en het vergroten van hun autonomie.
- Actief deelnemen aan Scrum-activiteiten zoals refinements, planningen, stand-ups en reviews.
Job requirements
- You possess HBO working and thinking level;
- Je beschikt over certificaten Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) en Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD);
- Je hebt minimaal 5 jaar werkervaring met Linux;
- Je hebt minimaal 2 jaar ervaring in Agile omgeving;
- Je hebt ervaring met container technologie zoals Docker en containers: aantoonbare en courante hands-on werkervaring;
- Je hebt ervaring binnen de archiefbranche.
Wishes:
Je hebt bij voorkeur:
- Ervaring met RedHat Enterprise Linux en certificering RHCSA 7 of 8;
- Ervaring met de bouw van geautomatiseerde uitrol van en naar RHEL systemen;
- Ervaring met development toolstack waaronder: Gitlab CI, Git, ansible, jira, confluence, Elastic, Check_MK (of soortgelijke tools);
- Ervaring met virtualisatieproducten (bijv VMware of RHEV)
- Ervaring binnen complexe, en in hoge mate technologische opdrachten (en in soortgelijke rol);
- Minimaal 2,5 jaar relevante en courante Infrastructure/ DevOps engineering werkervaring met:
- Build and maintain self-service infrastructure services based on (largely) open-source toolchain;
- Building infrastructure components through declarative/idempotent designed code using Ansible, Puppet or similar tooling.
- Je hebt een visie op het gebied van self service / infrastructure as code en kan deze uitdragen.
