Voor onze eindklant, het Ministerie van Defensie, zoeken wij een Netwerk Engineer/ Architect. Deze rol biedt jou de unieke kans om bij te dragen aan het vernieuwen van onze nationale defensie-infrastructuur. Work

What will you do?

  • Ontwerpen en optimaliseren van netwerkarchitecturen binnen complexe IT-omgevingen.
  • Uitvoeren van risicoanalyses op netwerkcomponenten en producten.
  • Integreren van nieuwe technologieën en optimaliseren van bestaande systemen.
  • Documenteren van netwerkoplossingen voor gebruik en beheer.
  • Begeleiden van implementaties en zorgen voor kennisoverdracht naar beheerorganisaties.
  • Adviseren over en implementeren van beveiligingsoplossingen binnen netwerken.
  • Samenwerken met multidisciplinaire teams binnen Defensieprojecten.

Context and objective

  • Je werkt binnen de Joint Informatie Voorziening Commando (JIVC), het IT-bedrijf van Defensie dat verantwoordelijk is voor betrouwbare, veilige, en toekomstbestendige IT-oplossingen.
  • De sectie Beveiliging waar jij aan de slag gaat, zorgt voor vertrouwelijkheid, integriteit en beschikbaarheid van gegevens, cruciaal voor de slagkracht van Defensie.
  • De inhuur is bedoeld om capaciteitsuitdagingen te overbruggen en belangrijke IT-projecten tijdig op te leveren.
  • Bijdragen aan nationale veiligheid door innovatieve netwerkoplossingen te realiseren binnen strategische Defensieprogramma's.
  • Het versterken van de digitale infrastructuur met toekomstgerichte architecturen.

Job requirements

  • In de afgelopen 5 jaar, minimaal 3 jaar hands-on ervaring met routing en switching in een Enterprise omgeving. Hands-on! Dat wil zeggen: je hebt zelf (aantoonbaar in C.V.) praktijkervaring opgedaan.
  • In de afgelopen 5 jaar, minimaal 3 jaar hands-on ervaring met Firewalling in een Enterprise omgeving. Hands-on! Dat wil zeggen: je hebt zelf (aantoonbaar in C.V.) praktijkervaring opgedaan.
  • Cisco CCNP certificering.
  • 2 jaar ervaring in het samenwerken binnen complexe projecten en is in staat zelfstandig te werken.
  • 2 jaar kennis van firewalls (Checkpoint en Fortinet) in diverse configuraties.
  • 2 jaar kennis van BGP en OSPF.

Wishes

  • In de afgelopen 5 jaar ervaring met Cisco Routing en met name BGP en OSPF.
  • In de afgelopen 5 jaar ervaring met het analyseren van netwerk traces.
  • In de afgelopen 5 jaar ervaring met Firewalls (Fortinet, Checkpoint & Palo Alto) met name virtualisatie en clustering.
  • Ervaring met Fortinet en is bij voorkeur bereid om de certificering (minimaal NSE4) binnen 1 jaar te halen.


Ministry of Defence

  • Deployments to Defence are usually for longer periods (1 to 4 years maximum). This position requires a B-screening with an average duration of 6-8 weeks.
  • When offering a candidate, completion of the offer form is mandatory. This also asks you to explain the requirements and wishes + include a reference to the CV.

Specific to suppliers

When you offer a professional with us and they are placed, we need information from you as a contracting party. Among other things, with regard to the Wet Ketenaansprakelijkheid. The ‘WKA’ aims to prevent abuse in the payment of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to end customer.

Broker parties cover these risks for their customers. To limit liability, measures need to be taken. So too by Hero. Important here is WAADI registration and use of a blocked account, the G account. This is the account into which only payroll taxes and VAT are deposited, which are then paid to the tax authorities. You can apply for the G account from the Tax and Customs Administration.
