Je werkt aan Defensie-specifieke producten gebaseerd op open source technologie, waarbij je zowel de technische architectuur ontwerpt als de integratie van hardware en software realiseert. Binnen het Kennisteam Open Source speel je een sleutelrol in het versterken van de stabiliteit, snelheid en veiligheid van essentiële IT-systemen. What will you do?
- Ontwerpen van de technische architectuur voor Defensie-specifieke open source producten.
- Zelfstandig ontwikkelen en aanpassen van software, met nadruk op open source componenten.
- Integreren van hardware met embedded software binnen Defensie-omgevingen.
- Uitvoeren van functionele en beveiligingstests van software releases.
- Ondersteunen van gebruikers en teams bij wijzigingen of het uitfaseren van producten.
- Bewaken van correcte werking en onderhoud van geïmplementeerde oplossingen.
- Waarborgen dat producten voldoen aan security-eisen, zoals encryptie en smartcard-integratie.
- Meedenken over procesverbeteringen om productkwaliteit en beheer te optimaliseren.
Context and objective
- Onderdeel van het Kennisteam Open Source (KTO) binnen Defensie.
- Gericht op het ontwikkelen van Defensie-specifieke IT-oplossingen op basis van open source.
- KTO maakt deel uit van de afdeling Generieke IT en Infrastructuur (GIT&Infra).
- GIT&Infra is verantwoordelijk voor de defensiebrede IT-infrastructuur.
- Doel: een stabiele, veilige en gebruiksvriendelijke IT-omgeving creëren voor Defensie.
- Focus op Business-IT Alignment binnen het generieke IT-domein.
- Oplossingen leveren die voldoen aan criteria van tijd, geld en kwaliteit.
- Bijdragen aan een samenhangende en toekomstbestendige IT-architectuur binnen Defensie.
Job requirements
- Je beschikt over HBO werk- en denkniveau.
- 5 jaar ervaring met Open Source (Linux/Unix).
- 5 jaar ervaring Linux / Embedded systemen (veel gebruikt bij Open Source gebaseerde oplossingen).
Wishes
- Je hebt een HBO opleiding afgerond in de richting ICT.
- Kennis en ervaring met Security-by-Design, Hardwarebeheer en -integratie.
- Kennis en ervaring met CI/CD en scripting (voor build, test en uitrol van producten).
- Kennis van open source licenties en compliance en werkervaring met Releasebeheer & Versiebeheer.
- Ruime en ervaring met Python scripting of vergelijkbaar.
Ministry of Defence
- Deployments to Defence are usually for longer periods (1 to 4 years maximum). This position requires a B-screening with an average duration of 6-8 weeks.
- When offering a candidate, completion of the offer form is mandatory. This also asks you to explain the requirements and wishes + include a reference to the CV.
Specific to suppliers
When you offer a professional with us and they are placed, we need information from you as a contracting party. Among other things, with regard to the Wet Ketenaansprakelijkheid. The ‘WKA’ aims to prevent abuse in the payment of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to end customer.
Broker parties cover these risks for their customers. To limit liability, measures need to be taken. So too by Hero. Important here is WAADI registration and use of a blocked account, the G account. This is the account into which only payroll taxes and VAT are deposited, which are then paid to the tax authorities. You can apply for the G account from the Tax and Customs Administration.
