Voor onze opdrachtgever zijn wij op zoek naar een IT Service & Continuity Manager. Jij speelt een cruciale rol in het waarborgen van IT-dienstverlening, het coördineren van incident- en changeprocessen en het beheren van calamiteiten binnen een 24/7-missie-kritieke omgeving. Je zorgt voor optimale beschikbaarheid, integriteit en cyberveiligheid van netwerken en systemen en draagt bij aan de bedrijfscontinuïteit van Defensie en haar partners. Met jouw expertise verbeter je processen, stuur je een team aan en adviseer je het management op strategisch niveau.

What will you do?

  • Bewaken van de kwaliteit en kwantiteit van IT-dienstverlening binnen jouw aandachtsgebied.
  • Overzicht behouden op het werkaanbod, prioriteiten afstemmen in de functionele keten.
  • Afstemmen met de gebruikersorganisatie over (on)mogelijkheden en evalueren van resultaten.
  • Controleren van voortgang bij incidenten- en changeprocessen en bijdragen aan rapportages.
  • Analyseren van afwijkingen en coördineren van correctieve acties, inclusief servicelevelbewaking.
  • Adviseren van het Hoofd Operations ITOC over support, netwerkbeheer en IT-beveiliging.
  • Uitvoeren van probleemanalyses, formuleren van verbeteropties en presenteren van verbetervoorstellen.
  • Leiden van calamiteitenprocessen: impactanalyse, communicatie, herstelacties en evaluatie.
  • Bijdragen aan beleidsoptimalisatie, rapportages en afdeling overstijgende activiteiten.
  • Aansturen van een team en bijdragen aan HR- en organisatieontwikkeling.

Context and objective

  • ITCC en ITOC vormen 24/7 de ruggengraat van IT-ondersteuning voor Defensie en enkele overheidspartners.
  • Zorgdragen voor beschikbaarheid, integriteit en veiligheid van IT-diensten en netwerken.
  • Monitoren en mitigeren van cyberdreigingen binnen defensienetwerken.
  • Beheer van hoog- en laag gerubriceerde netwerken, militaire satcomverbindingen en kritieke systemen.
  • Garanderen van bedrijfscontinuïteit in zowel vredes- als operationele situaties.
  • Fungeren als centraal loket voor informatievoorziening, incidentmeldingen en security issues.
  • Coördineren van servicelevels en herstellen van calamiteiten.
  • Continu verbeteren van processen en beleid binnen de organisatie.

Job requirements

  • 10 jaar ervaring met het leiden van complexe teams.
  • Je hebt coaching trainingen gevolgd.
  • Je beschikt over een hbo diploma.
  • 10 jaar ervaring in een leidinggevende functie binnen de overheid.

  • Kennis van Titaan.
  • Ervaring met het leiden van complexe teams binnen Defensie.

Ministry of Defence

  • Deployments to Defence are usually for longer periods (1 to 4 years maximum). This position requires an A-screening process with an average duration of 10-12 weeks.
  • When offering a candidate, completion of the offer form is mandatory. This also asks you to explain the requirements and wishes + include a reference to the CV.

Specific to suppliers

When you offer a professional with us and they are placed, we need information from you as a contracting party. Among other things, with regard to the Wet Ketenaansprakelijkheid. The ‘WKA’ aims to prevent abuse in the payment of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to end customer.

Broker parties cover these risks for their customers. To limit liability, measures need to be taken. So too by Hero. Important here is WAADI registration and use of a blocked account, the G account. This is the account into which only payroll taxes and VAT are deposited, which are then paid to the tax authorities. You can apply for the G account from the Tax and Customs Administration.
