In this role, you will train and support users within an international defence environment, focusing on information systems, processes, and operational continuity. You will work on-site in Münster, directly contributing to the effectiveness of CIS operations within 1GNC. Work
What will you do?
- Plan and deliver CIS training for 1GNC staff and subordinate units
- Train users on IKM tools, information systems, processes, and procedures
- Support and sustain the existing CIS infrastructure at 1GNC Peacetime Locations
- Provide CIS support to ICCW staff branches, subordinate units, and external (national and international) partners
- Advise ICCW leadership on improving technical information flow within 1GNC
- Provide user support and application training
- Support Change, Incident, and Problem Management processes within 1GNC
- Execute all activities on-site at 1GNC, Münster
Context and Objectives
- Strengthen CIS knowledge and operational readiness within 1GNC
- Ensure effective use of IKM tools and information systems
- Maintain continuity and reliability of CIS infrastructure in peacetime operations
- Improve technical information flow across staff branches and units
- Support operational processes through structured CIS management
- Enable users through training, guidance, and hands-on support
- Act as a key CIS point of contact within the 1GNC PTL environment
Job requirements
- You have proven experience in IT-architecture.
- You have proven experience in adult education.
- You have experience with and courses completed for TT+ Functional Administrator.
- You hold a certificate in ITIL Foundation.
- Experience with and courses completed for ITSM Tool Training (for example Service Now).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with and courses completed for MS SharePoint Functional Administrator.
- Proficient in English at level 3332.
- You have strong communication and pedagogical skills.
Desirable Qualifications
- Knowledge of strategic and tactical communication networks (esp. NLD, DEU and NATO).
- Working experience in military divisional or corps environment.
- Education in computer science or electronics.
- NATO C4ISR Technology Orientation (ETOC Course ID: CCC-SM-22206).
- NATO Networking Infrastructure (ETOC Course ID: CCC-DC-32237).
- Digital Communication (JADL113) (ETOC Course ID: CCC-DC-22276).
- MS SharePoint Functional Administrator (ETOC Course ID: CCC-ET-32337).
- TT+ Functional Administrator (ETOC Course ID: CCC-ET-42352).
- Proficiency in the German language.
Ministry of Defence
- Deployments to Defence are usually for longer periods (1 to 4 years maximum). This position requires an A-screening process with an average duration of 10-12 weeks.
- When offering a candidate, completion of the offer form is mandatory. This also asks you to explain the requirements and wishes + include a reference to the CV.
Specific to suppliers
When you offer a professional with us and they are placed, we need information from you as a contracting party. Among other things, with regard to the Wet Ketenaansprakelijkheid. The ‘WKA’ aims to prevent abuse in the payment of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to end customer.
Broker parties cover these risks for their customers. To limit liability, measures need to be taken. So too by Hero. Important here is WAADI registration and use of a blocked account, the G account. This is the account into which only payroll taxes and VAT are deposited, which are then paid to the tax authorities. You can apply for the G account from the Tax and Customs Administration.
