Work

What will you do?

  • Ontwikkelen van embedded software in QT en C++ (vanaf C++17) voor UXV-platformen.
  • Specificaties in kaart brengen en softwareoplossingen ontwikkelen via een agile methodiek.
  • Uitvoeren van integratie- en acceptatietesten (FAT en SEA) en documenteren van de resultaten.
  • Installeren en integreren van het product op operationele systemen.
  • Schrijven en onderhouden van technische documentatie.
  • Geven van productdemonstraties aan het scrumteam en stakeholders.
  • Oplossen van incidenten, bugs en technische problemen onderzoeken.
  • Afstemmen met stakeholders, architecten en leveranciers.
  • Vertalen van technische eisen naar concrete user stories.

Context and objective

  • Je draagt direct bij aan de ontwikkeling van het GENIUS-platform voor Defensie.
  • GENIUS zorgt voor efficiëntere inzet van onbemande systemen en payloads binnen de marine.
  • Het platform is in de groeifase en wordt klaargemaakt voor operationele inzet.
  • Het doel is om uiterlijk eind 2026 een volwassen, operationeel product te leveren.
  • Je werkt aan high-tech oplossingen die Defensie helpen meer te doen met minder middelen.
  • Je werkt in een beveiligde ontwikkelomgeving, grotendeels op locatie Den Helder.
  • Je schakelt met multidisciplinaire teams en verschillende stakeholders.
  • Je draagt bij aan de technische innovatie binnen een kritisch Defensieproject.

Job requirements

  • Een HBO-opleiding in een relevante richting (bijv. Informatica, Technische Informatica, Elektrotechniek).
  • Beheersing van de Nederlandse taal op minimaal B2-niveau.
  • 5 jaar aantoonbare werkervaring met het ontwerpen en ontwikkelen van software applicaties in C++(17 5 of nieuwer).
  • 4 jaar aantoonbare werkervaring met git.

Wishes

  • Ervaring met agile werken (Scrum), certificering is een pre.
  • Ervaring met QT
  • Proactieve werkhouding en goed in samenwerken binnen multidisciplinaire teams.
  • Analytisch sterk en in staat om zelfstandig technische problemen te doorgronden en op te lossen.
  • Affiniteit met embedded systemen
  • Goede schriftelijke en mondelinge communicatie in zowel Nederlands als Engels.

Ministry of Defence

  • Deployments to Defence are usually for longer periods (1 to 4 years maximum). This position requires a B-screening with an average duration of 6-8 weeks.
  • When offering a candidate, completion of the offer form is mandatory. This also asks you to explain the requirements and wishes + include a reference to the CV.

Specific to suppliers

When you offer a professional with us and they are placed, we need information from you as a contracting party. Among other things, with regard to the Wet Ketenaansprakelijkheid. The ‘WKA’ aims to prevent abuse in the payment of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to end customer.

Broker parties cover these risks for their customers. To limit liability, measures need to be taken. So too by Hero. Important here is WAADI registration and use of a blocked account, the G account. This is the account into which only payroll taxes and VAT are deposited, which are then paid to the tax authorities. You can apply for the G account from the Tax and Customs Administration.
