Work
What will you do?
- Installeren, configureren en integreren van Elastic Agent, Elastic Defend en Elastic Fleet volgens het Technisch Ontwerp.
- Geautomatiseerd uitrollen en activeren van Elastic Agents naar endpoints binnen meerdere productieomgevingen.
- Zorgen voor een stabiele integratie met andere onderdelen van de SOC-dienst en Defensie-infrastructuur.
- Werken met moderne deployment- en automationtools, zoals Ansible.
- Bijdragen aan technische documentatie, handleidingen en het actualiseren van het Technisch Ontwerp.
- Overdragen van kennis aan beheer- en doorontwikkelingsteams.
- Optimaliseren van automatiseringsprocessen en monitoren van implementaties na oplevering.
Context and objective
- De opdracht vindt plaats bij het Defensie Cyber Security Centrum (DCSC).
- Het doel is het inrichten, beheren en borgen van de Elastic Security SOC-dienst.
- De oplossing wordt ingezet binnen meerdere gescheiden productieomgevingen van Defensie.
- Draagt bij aan de digitale weerbaarheid en IT-veiligheid van Defensie.
- Richt zich op proactieve en reactieve cyberbeveiliging binnen het Defensie-domein.
- Samenwerking met nationale en internationale partners in cybersecurity.
- Belangrijke bijdrage aan kennisopbouw en innovatie in het digitale domein van Defensie.
Job requirements
- 3 jaar werkervaring in een vergelijkbare rol met de volgende karakteristieken:
- Handelt systematisch bij installatie, configuratie en optimalisatie om ervoor te zorgen dat de software voldoet aan de gestelde eisen.
- Documenteert relevante activiteiten registreert afwijkingen en corrigerende activiteiten.
- Neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor eigen acties.
- Je hebt minimaal een afgeronde MBO-opleiding. Diploma moet zijn behaald.
- 2 jaar werkervaring met de deployment en het beheer van endpoint agents in grote, complexe IT infrastructuuromgevingen met >10.000 endpoints. In die rol heb je de verantwoordelijkheid gedragen voor de planning, uitvoering en evaluatie van de deployments. De ervaring is opgedaan in de afgelopen 5 jaar.
- 3 jaar werkervaring met deployment en beheer van Endpoint Protection systemen in een vergelijkbare rol. (bijv. antimalware, application whitelisting, host-based firewalls, Endpoint Detection & Response). In die rol heb je zelfstandig gehandeld of aanzienlijke verantwoordelijkheid gedragen in teamverband. De ervaring is opgedaan in de afgelopen 7 jaar.
- 3 jaar werkervaring met het beheren van Windows-gebaseerde endpoints (systeembeheer). In die rol heb je zelfstandig gehandeld of aanzienlijke verantwoordelijkheid gedragen in teamverband. De ervaring is opgedaan in de afgelopen 7 jaar

Wishes
- Je hebt een afgeronde HBO / BC (bachelor) opleiding.
- Je hebt het certificaat Elastic Certified Engineer en/of Elastic Certified Observability Engineer of bent bereid om dit certificaat te behalen voor aanvang van de opdracht.
- Ervaring met Logstash en/of messaging systemen zoals Apache Kafka.
Ministry of Defence
- Deployments to Defence are usually for longer periods (1 to 4 years maximum). This position requires a B-screening with an average duration of 6-8 weeks.
- When offering a candidate, completion of the offer form is mandatory. This also asks you to explain the requirements and wishes + include a reference to the CV.
Specific to suppliers
When you offer a professional with us and they are placed, we need information from you as a contracting party. Among other things, with regard to the Wet Ketenaansprakelijkheid. The ‘WKA’ aims to prevent abuse in the payment of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to end customer.
Broker parties cover these risks for their customers. To limit liability, measures need to be taken. So too by Hero. Important here is WAADI registration and use of a blocked account, the G account. This is the account into which only payroll taxes and VAT are deposited, which are then paid to the tax authorities. You can apply for the G account from the Tax and Customs Administration.
