Je werkt binnen het Defensie Cyber Security Centrum (DCSC) aan het versterken en automatiseren van het Elastic Security-platform, waarmee cyberdreigingen vroegtijdig worden gedetecteerd en bestreden. In deze rol combineer je technische diepgang met maatschappelijke impact, samenwerkend met topsecurityspecialisten in een hoogbeveiligde omgeving.

Work
What will you do?
- (Geautomatiseerd) installeren en configureren van systemen volgens vastgestelde eisen.
- Toepassen van moderne technieken voor applicatie-deployment en automation (zoals Ansible en Python).
- Beheren van het Elastic-platform en bestaande Elastic-applicaties.
- Optimaliseren van automationprocessen en monitoren van het Elastic-cluster.
- Overdragen van kennis aan collega’s en verzorgen van kennissessies over Elastic, Kafka en Ansible.
- Bijdragen aan het borgen van beheerprocessen binnen Elastic Security.
Context and objective
- Werken binnen het Defensie Cyber Security Centrum (DCSC) aan de digitale weerbaarheid van Defensie.
- Beschermen van IT-netwerken, wapensystemen en informatie tegen cyberaanvallen.
- Versterken van de Elastic Security-omgeving voor proactieve en reactieve cyberbeveiliging.
- Samenwerken met nationale en internationale partners in het cyberdomein.
- Bevorderen van innovatie en kennisopbouw op het gebied van cybersecurity.
- Zorgen voor stabiel en efficiënt beheer van Elastic-platforms binnen een hoogbeveiligde omgeving.
- Actief bijdragen aan de digitale veiligheid van Nederland.
Job requirements
- Je hebt minimaal een afgeronde HBO / BC (bachelor) opleiding. Diploma moet zijn behaald.
- 3 jaar ervaring met deployment en beheer van applicaties.
- 2 jaar ervaring met de bouw en het beheer van SIEM clusters.
- 2 jaar werkervaring met linux.
Wishes
- 3 jaar ervaring met Logstash & Kafka.
- 3 jaar aantoonbare ervaring met Ansible en Python.
- Ervaring in grote complexe organisaties met complexe IT-infrastructuren.
- Je beschikt over een Elastic Engineer certificering.
Ministry of Defence
- Deployments to Defence are usually for longer periods (1 to 4 years maximum). This position requires a B-screening with an average duration of 6-8 weeks.
- When offering a candidate, completion of the offer form is mandatory. This also asks you to explain the requirements and wishes + include a reference to the CV.
Specific to suppliers
When you offer a professional with us and they are placed, we need information from you as a contracting party. Among other things, with regard to the Wet Ketenaansprakelijkheid. The ‘WKA’ aims to prevent abuse in the payment of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to end customer.
Broker parties cover these risks for their customers. To limit liability, measures need to be taken. So too by Hero. Important here is WAADI registration and use of a blocked account, the G account. This is the account into which only payroll taxes and VAT are deposited, which are then paid to the tax authorities. You can apply for the G account from the Tax and Customs Administration.
