Wij zoeken voor onze opdrachtgever een Data Science Consultant die het verschil maakt binnen het initiatief Datagedreven Werken. Je gaat aan de slag met het analyseren van grote datasets, het ontwikkelen van voorspellende algoritmes en het vertalen van inzichten naar concrete dataproducten. Je combineert onderzoek, data-analyse en implementatie tot bruikbare oplossingen. Wil jij impact maken met data en innovatie stimuleren? Dan is dit jouw volgende uitdaging!

What will you do?

  • Inzichtelijk maken van data-analyse- en data science-mogelijkheden binnen het initiatief Datagedreven Werken
  • Inventariseren en analyseren van beschikbare data
  • Toepassen van data-analyse- en data science-methoden en -technieken
  • Herkennen van patronen in big data en ontwikkelen van voorspellende algoritmes
  • Visualiseren van inzichten en voorspellingen
  • Analyseren en vertalen van probleemstellingen naar een concreet plan van aanpak
  • Onderzoeken van internationale ontwikkelingen en toetsen van aannames
  • Realiseren van dataproducten, -diensten en -concepten door projecten te coördineren en implementaties te bewaken

  • Doel is het versterken van datagedreven besluitvorming binnen de organisatie
  • Focus op het toepassen van data science voor voorspellende inzichten
  • Vertalen van complexe vraagstukken naar toepasbare dataoplossingen
  • Verbinden van technische, analytische en onderzoeksvaardigheden
  • Creëren van inzichtelijke dataproducten die bijdragen aan innovatie
  • Bevorderen van kennisdeling door publicaties en presentaties
  • Stimuleren van een datagedreven cultuur binnen projecten en teams
  • Deze uitvraag is uitgezet voor een reeds zittende kandidaat als verlenging.

Job requirements

  • Je wendt onafhankelijk denken en technologische kennis aan om verschillende concepten te integreren zodat unieke oplossingen ontstaan.
  • Je hebt een bachelor diploma behaald aan een universiteit op het gebied van datascience, econometrie en informatica of andere relevante kwantitatieve opleiding.
  • 5 jaar ervaring als zelfstandig werkend IT professional Data Scientist (hier onder wordt verstaan, de werkzaamheden zelfstandig te kunnen uitvoeren zonder begeleiding).
  • 5 jaar aantoonbare kennis en werkervaring van methodes en technologieën op het gebied van data science en/of machine learning.
  • 5 jaar aantoonbare kennis en ervaring van methodes en technologieën op het gebied van data enginering, software development en of web development.

Wishes

  • Ervaring met realiseren van end-to-end toepassingen.
  • Ervaring met het samenwerken in IT project teams.
  • Ervaring met toepassen van data science tooling.
  • Ervaring met data engineering.
  • Ervaring als technology watcher.
  • Ervaring opgedaan met (kunnen toepassen) van IT-toepassingen in een operationele omgeving en/of in de Defensie-, Migratie- en Veiligheidsketen.
  • Ervaring met computer science en/of AI en/of software engineering en/of data science en/of een gerelateerd vakgebied.

Ministry of Defence

  • Deployments to Defence are usually for longer periods (1 to 4 years maximum). This position requires an A-screening process with an average duration of 10-12 weeks.
  • When offering a candidate, completion of the offer form is mandatory. This also asks you to explain the requirements and wishes + include a reference to the CV.

Specific to suppliers

When you offer a professional with us and they are placed, we need information from you as a contracting party. Among other things, with regard to the Wet Ketenaansprakelijkheid. The ‘WKA’ aims to prevent abuse in the payment of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to end customer.

Broker parties cover these risks for their customers. To limit liability, measures need to be taken. So too by Hero. Important here is WAADI registration and use of a blocked account, the G account. This is the account into which only payroll taxes and VAT are deposited, which are then paid to the tax authorities. You can apply for the G account from the Tax and Customs Administration.
