Work
What will you do?
- Beheren en optimaliseren van het centrale dataplatform, inclusief data pipelines, opslag en integraties.
- Ontsluiten van data uit operationele systemen naar het centrale platform en zorgen voor toegangsrechten, logging en beveiliging.
- Inrichten van een (O)TAP-straat met behulp van CI/CD-pipelines in GitLab.
- Ontwikkelen van oplossingen om mutatiebestanden te combineren met historische data.
- Automatisch ophalen en laden van metadata in een centrale data catalogus ter ondersteuning van governance en datavindbaarheid.
- Waarborgen van datakwaliteit en consistentie via validatie, monitoring en alerts.
- Samenwerken met analisten, data scientists en BI-teams om datasets bruikbaar te maken voor analyses en rapportages.
- Overleggen met beveiligingsautoriteiten en AVG-functionarissen voor toegang, analyse en visualisatie van operationele data.
Context and objective
- Je werkt binnen het Defensie Ondersteuningscommando (DOSCO) in de Data Science Cell.
- De nieuwe directie IT & Innovatie (DI&I) zet sterk in op digitale transformatie en vernieuwing.
- Het doel is een betrouwbare en innovatieve IT-omgeving die Defensie optimaal ondersteunt.
- Je maakt deel uit van een hecht team van specialisten met focus op data, cyber, informatievoorziening en planning.
- De organisatie stimuleert samenwerking, innovatie en kennisdeling.
- Het werk draagt bij aan het versterken van Defensie door betere ondersteuning van de kernprocessen.
- Je legt verantwoording af aan het Hoofd Data Science en werkt nauw samen met andere teamleden.
- Werkomgeving: Kromhoutkazerne in Utrecht, binnen JIVC – de IV/ICT-organisatie van Defensie.
Job requirements
- 5 jaar ervaring met het hanteren van databeheerprincipes.
- Je hebt bij minimaal 2 organisaties Data Engineer processen uitgewerkt en in beheer gebracht.
- 5 jaar kennisniveau opgebouwd m.b.t. compliancy, beveiligingseisen en data governance.
- Je beschikt over ervaring in SQL, Python, ETL-processen.
- Je beschikt over ervaring in het opzetten van CI/CD pipelines.
- Je beschikt over ervaring in database beheer, waaronder (o.a.) PostgreSQL
- Je beschikt over ervaring in ontwerpen van schaalbare en betrouwbare data-architectuur
Wishes
- Je hebt affiniteit met Data-engineering binnen het OOV-domein.
- Je hebt kennis van en bij voorkeur werkervaring met DataIKU.
Ministry of Defence
- Deployments to Defence are usually for longer periods (1 to 4 years maximum). This position requires a B-screening with an average duration of 6-8 weeks.
- When offering a candidate, completion of the offer form is mandatory. This also asks you to explain the requirements and wishes + include a reference to the CV.
Specific to suppliers
When you offer a professional with us and they are placed, we need information from you as a contracting party. Among other things, with regard to the Wet Ketenaansprakelijkheid. The ‘WKA’ aims to prevent abuse in the payment of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to end customer.
Broker parties cover these risks for their customers. To limit liability, measures need to be taken. So too by Hero. Important here is WAADI registration and use of a blocked account, the G account. This is the account into which only payroll taxes and VAT are deposited, which are then paid to the tax authorities. You can apply for the G account from the Tax and Customs Administration.
