For our client, we are looking for a Business Rules Developer (Blueriq) who gets energy from translating complex regulations into smart, reusable business rules. You will work in an Agile team on a socially relevant platform, where Blueriq forms the core of the business logic.

Work

What will you do?

  • Update, refresh and realise business rules in Blueriq.
  • Resolve disruptions within the business control platform.
  • Analysing complex, policy-driven processes with a feel for laws and regulations.
  • Modelling domain models, business rules and responsive forms in Blueriq.
  • Translate functional questions into concrete and applicable solutions.
  • Implement Blueriq solutions, including interfaces with external systems.
  • Perform refactoring on existing models and rules.
  • Contribute to operational application management, including performing upgrades.

Context and objective

  • Replacing a departing colleague within the SGA/BPM (Business Operations Platform) team.
  • Working within an Agile/Scrum team with a focus on business rules at the core of the platform.
  • Blueriq is deployed for modelling business rules and forms.
  • Business rules are available centrally and reusable via generic services.
  • The assignment is at the intersection of business and IT.
  • The engineer supports both development and management of business rules.
  • Contribution to policy implementation by interpreting legislation into process rules.
  • The platform is constantly being developed, with stability and innovation being essential.

Job requirements

  • 5 years of knowledge and experience with Service Oriented Architecture.
  • 5 years' experience with Blueriq.
  • 5 years of knowledge and experience in Business Process Management and the place of business rules.

Wishes

  • Knowledge and/or proficiency with JIRA.
  • Knowledge and skill with working in Agile teams.
  • Knowledge and skill with Blueriq upgrade processes.
  • Knowledge or skill with coaching junior colleagues (knowledge transfer).
  • Knowledge and skill in analysing computerisation issues and providing automation solutions.

Ministry of Defence

  • Deployments to Defence are usually for longer periods (1 to 4 years maximum). This position requires a B-screening with an average duration of 6-8 weeks.
  • When offering a candidate, completion of the offer form is mandatory. This also asks you to explain the requirements and wishes + include a reference to the CV.

Specific to suppliers

When you offer a professional with us and they are placed, we need information from you as a contracting party. Among other things, with regard to the Wet Ketenaansprakelijkheid. The ‘WKA’ aims to prevent abuse in the payment of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to end customer.

Broker parties cover these risks for their customers. To limit liability, measures need to be taken. So too by Hero. Important here is WAADI registration and use of a blocked account, the G account. This is the account into which only payroll taxes and VAT are deposited, which are then paid to the tax authorities. You can apply for the G account from the Tax and Customs Administration.
