You will join an enthusiastic team within the Planning and Work Distribution Section in Utrecht, where you will work together to balance customer demand and capacity supply. You will provide valuable insights to management via dashboards, reports and automated data processes, and contribute to the optimisation of processes and systems within a complex IT and database environment. Work
What will you do?
- Analyse and (re)set up databases (DB2, MSSQL, PostgreSQL) using scripting.
- Ensuring databases are kept up-to-date and performing migrations, updates and management tasks.
- Collaborate with product teams to perform proper deployments and coordinate content work.
- Thinking along on technical solutions and innovations, both in day-to-day management and projects.
- Automate data collection, reporting and other repetitive processes.
- Realise dashboards and reports that provide insight into the balance between customer demand and internal capacity.
- Advise management based on data insights, regarding capacity allocation and prioritisation.
- Working according to the agile scrum methodology, using Kanban.
- Optimise processes and contribute to the implementation of improvements.
- Share knowledge within the team and actively contribute to a learning environment.
- Contribute to the further development of the T-shaped team model within the database team.
Job requirements
- You possess HBO working and thinking level;
- You have knowledge of DB2 and/or SQL;
- You have at least 3 years' experience with a system such as Power BI or Oracle which are used for analysing data and preparing reports;
- You have at least 3 years' experience in Data Analysis and reporting.
Wishes:
- You have knowledge of index performance and DB optimisations;
- You have experience with programming languages SQL, XML, M language, Dax and Python and with preparing reports and building queries;
- You possess the competences:
- Familiar with SCRUM working methodology;
- Good written and oral expression skills;
- Socially adept;
- Politically sensitive;
- Integrity;
- Healthy dose of humour.
