ICTU is a project and consultancy organisation by and for governments. Together with clients, ICTU works on a better digital government. This ensures the improvement of both the work processes at governments and the service provision to society and the Interaction with citizens. ICTU's aim is to support governments and chain partners to achieve their objectives optimally, by stimulating and facilitating cooperation. In doing so, ICTU connects policy development with implementation. ICTU wants to distinguish itself by realising concrete solutions that work for governments and contribute to services to citizens and businesses.  

ICTU is immediately looking for an all-round healthcare communication advisor for projects/programmes within the healthcare domain. The healthcare domain is characterised by a complex administrative constellation of public and private parties, with VWS bearing system responsibility. This makes specific demands on stakeholder engagement towards healthcare providers and their sector organisations. As well as to public communication on current developments in healthcare in the context of the National Vision and Strategy, Wegiz, EHDS and NIS2.

The assignment involves providing communications consultancy and editing work for various healthcare projects. These include programmes working on cyber resilience and information security for Healthcare. 

To achieve this goal, ICTU is working on

• Sharpening (making more and more appropriate) current and future cybersecurity policy and information security of VWS by providing advice based on, among other things, conducted monitor: where does the healthcare sector as a whole stand and where is extra attention needed?
• Create and increase awareness among relevant VWS policy directorates: where is ‘my’ subsector and on which policy components is extra attention needed from us?
• Create and increase awareness and risk treatment among healthcare providers: where am I and in which areas do I need to start additional activities? How do I stand in relation to my fellow institutions?
• For trade associations: Sharpening (making increasingly appropriate) current and future cybersecurity policies by providing advice based on conducted monitor aimed at constituencies for the industry association

The deployment of the all-round healthcare communications advisor is related to projects within the healthcare domain and is considered completed when the assignment is successfully completed based on the below-mentioned deliverables.

What partial results will the professional need to achieve during the assignment:

• Identify, assess and centrally share available channels and resources of all collaborative partners (conferences, websites, consultation forms, newsletters).
• Responsibility for Internal media and events: SharePoint, Viva Engage, ICTU (healthcare) café, setting up mail group
• Responsibility for external (social) media and events, such as sending newsletters, maintaining LinkedIN account and preparing participation in events.
• Provide project materials: videos, infographics, presentations, reference articles, interviews, etc.
• Support VWS and healthcare umbrella organisations in (preparing for) public communication on healthcare programmes appropriate to the National Vision and Strategy, Wegiz, EHDS and NIS2.

Desired profile

• You are able to articulate complex content smoothly and get to the point quickly. 
• You have proven experience in writing background articles on information security. 
• You have proven experience in conducting interviews and know how to translate them into articles 
• You have proven experience in writing readable articles
• You have experience with content management systems
• You are organisation-sensitive and know how to balance sharp content with client requirements.
