What will you do?

• Act as Enterprise Lead Architect for applications, services, networks and connectivity within the 1GNC CIS infrastructure
• Provide architectural leadership for both static and deployed IT environments
• Advise and guide national and international project teams during design, development and implementation of IT systems
• Ensure alignment between new IT solutions and existing CIS infrastructure at peacetime locations
• Develop, review and maintain standard operating procedures and instructions (SOP/SOI) related to CIS infrastructure changes
• Oversee architectural consistency across internal units, external agencies and contractors
• Support sustainment, optimisation and long-term development of enterprise IT capabilities

Context and Objectives

• You will work for the Ministry of Defence in a complex, mission-critical IT environment
• The assignment is based within a multinational military headquarters (1GNC)
• The objective is to ensure robust, scalable and future-proof enterprise IT architecture
• You play a central role in sustaining and evolving defence IT capabilities
• The role bridges strategy, architecture and operational execution
• You contribute directly to the reliability and effectiveness of military command and control systems
• The assignment supports both day-to-day operations and long-term capability development
