Business Analist (technical backend systems)
On behalf of the largest super market chain in the BeNeLux, Hero is looking for a Business Analist for the E-Commerce team.
As offline and online markets are becoming increasingly intertwined and technology offers unprecedented opportunities, the organization needs to continue to keep up and innovate where possible. As a result, right now their customers can choose from over 27,000 products and your register receipt is faster in your app than it is in your actual hands. With a driven team, they work hard to make their customers' shopping experience better every day. In the coming years the organization has an ambitious international strategy and that is why we are looking for a Business Analyst to strengthen the team.
As a Business Analist, your daily activities mainly consist of defining requirements and wishes for the end user and connecting platforms. This means you are curious by nature and ask relevant questions such as "How should the software behave?", "What exact requirements do we need?" and "What are the pre-requisites?" You take a critical look at the current state of our software its connections and map these out in a flow to support user in understanding the requirements. As a Business Analist you will share and communicate your analysis clearly. By collecting information from the teams, end users and connecting systems, you have the overview and understand the software landscape.
We are looking for a Business Analist who will strengthen our so called “Landscape force team”. This team’s objective is to set clear guidelines on architecture, requirements and specifications for and together with other teams. The team consists mainly of Architects and Business Analists supported by an Agile coach. In this team you will work on complex integrations needed for their European expansion of the platform. This means you must have good communication skills in English to clearly define and translate wishes from and to partners in Europe.
Ideally we can have you started in September, but of course we take holidays and notice periods into account. The role can be done in four or five days per week and is intended to last at least 12 months. Ideally, you can work 1 day per week on-site or more.
- Experience as a Business Analist / Business Analyst for technical backend systems
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English language
- Experience within a corporate / commercial environment, preferably within retail or logistics
- Knowledge of SQL, databases and associated tools
